Professional Builders License 1986 Career and Technical Certificate
1990-present Professional Teaching License
1995-present ACTE National Fellow
2010 Professional Principal License 2009-present --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My journey to CEC began when I discovered that I could take a class in high school that was both interesting and challenging; that course was Carpentry at the the Warren Occupational Technical Center in Jefferson County. Graduation was followed by a dozen years of remodel work in and around the Denver Metro area. My road took a new and interesting turn when one of my clients offered me a chance to teach what I loved, building. I have taken advantage of educational opportunities at CSU, Metro State, Adams State and DU during my twenty-one years in the classroom. I have had the pleasure of working with leadership for Career and Technical Education at the State and National levels. My current stop is a leadership position at CEC and I look forward to continuing my journey.
